Thank you so much for choosing Southern Skeins for your advent calendar. We know how hard you work and appreciate that you chose us to give you a wonderful yarn advent. This year’s advent is a Countdown to Christmas in a kaleidoscope of color.
My vision for this year was to look at the inside a kaleidoscope and watching the colors form as it is turned. The minis are all colorful the way you’d expect a kaleidoscope to be. Some of the mini colors are new and some are from my favorite colorways.

How does the advent work?
Starting December 1st you’ll open the yarn marked according to the day of the month. Start with Day 1 and work your way, each day, to Day 24 The 100g skein is listed as Christmas Day: however, I’ll be opening mine on Dec 1st. You can too!
We will be knitting all month long. I’m a slow knitter, so don’t worry if you are a slow knitter too!
How to win prizes:
Post pics on social media as you go through the month using #SSYarnAdvent2023. Prizes will be drawn based on random draws of photos on Instagram and Facebook.
(Prizes are paid for by Southern Skeins and winners will be selected by a random number generator.)
